The Mandale Linear Park was opened in June 2008. At an approximate cost of 1 million pounds the park was built along the valley between the old Mandale estate and the Littleboy area. The Mandale estate has now been cleared and most of the area is now re built with new housing as far over as Mitchell Avenue. Linear Park has a series of winding pathways that run through from Redcar Road to the Cemetery and Lanehouse road to Baysdale road and Mitchell Avenue. Copy of Council PDF plans. (Update 01/06/2009)
