Cassies field is a small green area that most Thornaby folk will not know exists. It nestles between Lanehouse road and Acklam Road. Pedestrian access only is from both roads and also from Balmoral / Sandringham road area. Primarily an open field with native Hawthorns and Blackthorns around it ,the field has a small bird scrape. Nice place to sit and reflect away from the noise.
