The Black Bobbies Nature Reserve is another of our hidden gems. It is situated along the river bank behind Richardson Road. Access is from along the river walk or through the gates on the Lower Green. There are a lot of reed beds and a fish haven with a lot of small secluded areas ideal for a picnic or bird watching.
