This web site is dedicated to providing information for residents and visitors of Thornaby on Tees.
Launched in April 2007, (and restyled in 2009) combined with thornaby.org.uk will provide a comprehensive source of on-line community information for local residents as well as a starting point for anybody wishing to visit the town. From the creator of the original Thornaby Site thornabyontees.freeservers.com/ in 2000 and thornaby.s5.com in 2002.

New features include a news blog. Thornaby News with direct feeds from the Evening Gazette and Northern Echo and a “What’s On Page” where it is hoped to give information for future events in the Town. Around Thornaby gives you a look around the town that a lot of people miss. Thornaby Memories page also updated with old pictures and link for Thornaby Song on Youtube. Wildlife, Nature Reserves and River Views pages added 14/05/09. Town Centre Timeline added 16/05/09. Total of 4 pages of pictures. 4 pages of pictures from the woods and nature reserves added 17/05/09. Thornaby Show page added 29.05.2009. History pages amended 05.06.2009 with Thornaby Charter added.
This site is provided FREE by VPRA Webworks who provide the VPRA sites and is maintained for you completely free. I have experimented with a guest book but found it more trouble than it was worth so if you want to pass comment, good or bad on this site or maybe you would like something adding then please use the e-mail button on the left. a page is to be added to display comments, this is the only way the trouble causers can be kept out.
